Guys,
The title is little misleading, and I apologize.
I need your suggestions here.
My questions:

1: If we are traveling to Nepal, how much money can we carry with us?

2: If I dont want to carry the cash, what are my options? (I heard they don't accept american express travelers check no more)

3: If I plan to bank some money back home, how can I get a tax statement for filing here in the USA as foreign investment?

thanks in advance!

1. Up to 10k
2. Do a wire transfer using BOA (It's cheaper than Chase)
3. By showing a proper paperwork that'd serve as proof of investment?

Good luck!

Actually, you can send larger amount. However, if you sent over 10k, you'll have to fill out some paperwork and the transaction will be reported to the IRS.

As riddle pointed

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This is waht i did:

transferred money via BOFA. ( service charge around USD 45).
hassle free transaction.
just had under USD 500 cash.
For any emergency issues (in between transit), I could have used my credit cards ( willing to pay extra hefty international charges).
