TPS about to expire for those who go it but looks like no official notice about extension has been made. I (F-2 visa) applied for TPS+ EAD almost a year ago, got EAD within 3 weeks but no sign of TPS being approved. Waited until April, tried to contact USCIS, no progress. I got tired of it, so came to Nepal and have been here since then. I didn't apply for AP either...basically abandoned TPS application.
My spouse (the F-1) says USCIS sent a letter last month saying that my application is incomplete because I forgot to answer one of the questions in the application form. Even if I complete the application, I don't think they'll approve my application because I came to Nepal while the application was pending without AP. And I don't really care either...this whole TPS thing has been nothing but a pain. I hope those who are still in a limbo (either waiting first approval, or hoping for an extension) get relief soon.
I will be returning to US after Dashain...since I didn't use that EAD to work, I technically did not violate my F-2 status and should be able to clear the port of entry. But, you never know. Just a rant. Please feel free to comment/suggest anything. Especially from folks who have been through a similar situation. Good day!
