Hi, I am in the UK, finishing my degree this year in summer and also finish my visa on end of the Aug. Is there anyway I can extend my visa without joining the cheap college. I despise the idea but if I have to then I will.

I am also thinking of going home for Tihar and want to spend 5 - 6 weeks there, will it be a problem at the immigration when I return?

Being a student how could I become a freelance or independant worker?

any suggestion or advice will be appreciated

What's your degree?
If your degree is one of the qualifying one you are automatically entitiled to one year work permit in UK if you are going to finish your masters. Most of the IT related degrees as far as I know fall in this category.

Check http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/ for your degree.

You do need a work permit to to work full time (unless you are on vacations of course otherwise it is at max 20 hrs/week).

What do you mean by "cheap college"?
How did you manage to study in "expensive colleges"?
Just curious. If you really did join some of the good schools, then there should be no such hastles as you are presuming.

I don't mean to be mean, though.
