johny, more often than not, regarless of your graduation, you will need around 2 years of American college's courses ( that include the likes of general education and so on ) in order to get a bachelor's degree. In my opinion, you'd be better off applying for a master's degree provided that they're willing to accept you as a grad student.

Well you've said that you're already in the USA, I guess that the best bet would be to contact a legal advisor or a lawyer in regards to changing your status. Think there's a guy named "Santoshgiri" who hangs out in sajha. You might come across him sometime.
