As many of you know by now, Hurricane Hari has taken Nepal by storm and left a significant portion of the nation completely devastated. Although the country has been decimated, Nepalese living abroad must realize that their countrymen and women need their support now more than ever. Here are several ways that you can help in this time of crisis.

International Organizations working in this area have collaborated to launch Operation Helping Hands to help storm victims. Donations are taken online at www. hurricanehari .com  Also, please do drop off any canned food or other non-perishable items at Nas' apartment in downtown New York. Although the victims of this hurricane are suffering greatly, we cannot forget the suffering people at home. The way he has been unjustly targeted and vilified by a majority of Sajha members simply for expressing his views...well that is a far greater tragedy than any that may be caused by a gust of wind.
