I applied for TPS on November 2nd, 2016 and my application is till pending. USCIS asked for additional documents on Feb 28, 2017. All supporting documents were submitted on 11th March 2017. There has been no update after that.

Is there anybody else left whose TPS application is still in pending status?

Ombudsman office helped me to expedite the process. However, USCIS rejected my application stating I did not apply on time during the initial registration period. Now they have told me to Appeal/ file a motion to reconsider the decision.

I am not understanding why such decision was made. I have heard many people getting TPS who have not applied during the first registration period.

I would recommend you to consult with immigration lawyer. Since you file late, might be they were not convinced with your documentation.

In how many days ombudsman reply to you? How long did it take for them to expedite your case?

They contacted me approximately a week later. They expedited the process within a couple of days after that.
