Guys, I just rec'd an email from my employer in the US that selected me (i am in Nepal now) that contains a receipt number for my application for H1B. It is EAC....sth. They are asking me to schedule and appointment now for August at the consulate in kathmandu. Guys, i really don't have any idea on what to do. As my application is in the final stage but not approved by the USCIS, do you think i should schedule appointment at the embassy for Aug. now?

Go talk to the councellors at Gyaneshwor..they'll help you out better and also help you prepare the right documents before scheduling the appointment.

What are the chances of getting H1B approved from INS for a Nepali guy (Nepal seems to be blacklisted, that is what i heard).
