can u please help me.......................can u please tell me one thing..................one of my brother is in usa and he is going to apply the green card for me..................how long do i have to wait for all the process.............i have heard it takes like 10-15 years is that true.............................what is the form name.................ur help is greatly appreciated..........................plz help....................and if he will apply for his parents how long the process will take before they get the green card.............................


beside this any sajha member help will be grealty appreciated too.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thx for ur help in advance

Hi,
Long weekend.....sorry for the late response. If your brother is already a US Citizen, yes, he can apply for your greencard. The only concern you may have is that you will fall under the forth cataegory of family sponsored petitions.
The waiting times for family sponsored petitions range from 4-18 years as of recent waiting dates. However, this backlog applies mostly to applicants from India, mexico, china, phillipines.Therefore, it is likely that applicants from Nepal will have to wait for shorter period.
