Does anybody have any idea on where I could get Raster and Vector maps - DEM, landcover, soil types, hydrology etc. for kathmandu valley. Pleasee help!!!

Puchi.. You can get vector maps for: landcover, soil types, hydrology etc. for kathmandu valley from Department of Survey, Minbhawan. You have to pay for the maps. (DOS has maps in vector format. I am sure you can convert verctor map to raster format using any appropriate GIS software.) Hope that helps..
