Much to his girlfriend's delight, Shyam decides to have dinner with her parents. Since this is such a big event, she announces they'll make love for the first time after dinner.
Shyam is ecstatic, but he has never had sex, so he takes a trip to the pharmacist who gives him some impromptu advice. He tells him everything there is to know, then asks him how many condoms he'd like to buy. Shyam insists on a large pack because ''he'll be rather busy that night.
That night, Shyam shows up and is taken to the dinner table, where the girl's folks are seated. He offers to say grace and bows his head.
A minute passes, and Shyam is still deep in prayer, with his head down. Finally, after 15 minutes of praying, the girlfriend leans over and whispers: ''I had no idea you were this religious.'' Shyam raises his head and whispers back to his giflfriend, ''And I had no idea your dad was a pharmacist.''
