Dear unknown/anonymus well-wishers..... it has been more than 6 months since my lawyer applied for my Labor Cert under EB-2 category from NY. When asked about the delay he says b'coz of the audits and enquiries from DOL in most of the companies there has been a sizeable backlog in  processing. . Friends, I smell something fishy out here ! Please let me know if any of you have:

1.Experienced same amount of delay in EB-2 filing

2. Got Labor approved in less than 6 months recently.

3. Any idea ( from online news, media reports etc) whether the amount of backlog has increased lately.

Please donate some of your precious time and give me your views.

There are other cases like yours. One of my friends filed Labor Cert under EB2 last October and has not heard any word so far.  His case was audited.  Best of Luck for your Labor certificate.

Mine is pending from last Oct too and there was an audit.
What is the probability of approval after the audit?
