Dear friends,
I have a situation. I got my SS in 2007 fall. I worked on-campus. I had a legal F-1 status at that time. Now I am out of status and now for the first time I started working off-campus using my SS since February 2010. I don't have any idea about tax filing. What is the best I can do in this tax season or next to stay out of trouble with i....r....s...?

Rukdhell, Don't worry and just apply online. Use turbotax, tax act or any other you prefer. You won't have any problem if you put information when you were in school or if you worked outside. Just put all the information from your W2 form and apply by 15 Apr. If you have not filed tax of last year, it does not matter. Apply as first time user.. Hope it helps...
