are they worth it?

nope. this houses are product of mass consumption and your relationship with the space is never the same as someone else. so why live in a house that's identical to your neighbors? if you're going to spend so much money then might as well hire an architect!!! architects are way better than this cheap developers. they provide guidance from your initial thoughts to a house that's an abstraction of those thoughts. live in a house that's home to you, just you.

Don't mean to be rude but you're shoving your personal opinion in here. Tyrannologic is merely pondering about the "worth" of those houses. He isn't asking you whether you'd ever wish to live in one of those houses.

Even here in the states, many of the houses in suburb communities are pretty identical. But that doesn't mean a whole lot. Whether one thinks a Mansion or a jhupadi is his dream house - that's a personal opinion. But in terms of value, I reckon it is well worth it. 3-4 bedroom "houses" developed by developers might not be good enough to qualify for your dream house but in terms of cost, they are well worth it.
