anyone from Omaha or have idea about Omaha area....my dear friend is moving to that city and we are trying to find an apartment in a safe area.... any kind of suggestion and recommendation is highly appreciated.

Try finding apartments in West or South Omaha, preferably west of 72nd street, No to north or east omaha.

There are apartments near Uni. Of Omaha where most of the students live. There is a student housing known as Capital Court(Google it). I spent almost 3 years in Omaha. I have to tell you that Omaha sucks like hell- very disappointing place. Weather sucks.Even Neo-Nazi rally takes place at Omaha. Run from that place as soon as you can and as far as you can.
