Hi everyone,

I'm sorry to display my ignorance but I need help regarding who gives tika to who and who gets dashina (money) for Dashain. My family is gathering together for tika this weekend and things have changed this year because two of the daughters are now married. So, they will be going to their own parents' home with their husbands. Now that they are married, they still get tika from their parents but no money, right? But, do they give dashina to anyone? There is one older sister who is not married. What about tika between the new couples? Is there any dashina there? I hope this makes sense. Again, sorry for my ignorance...I just don't know who gives/gets what now that the relationships in our family have changed. Maybe someone can just give me the general rules. Thanks a million!!
