What is the difference between Nepali Zodiac sun sign and Indian Zodiac sun sign. I know they give the name by birth month and we don't

I have an indian friend who has the same birth month as of mine. His Zodiac sun sign is "Cancer" ( based on birth month) but mine is different .

It is so confusing .. Now I realized I have two Zodiac sun sign.. One is based on my month and one my Priest gave me ..  

It looks so stupid question but I have no freaking idea .. Can someone put light on it ..

Have u heard about Lunar and Solar calendar.

The zodiac sign given by priest, i believe, nepali guru is based on lunar calendar, and completely based on exact time of birth.

In the West it is based on Solar calendar, based on birth month

hehe .

I know Lunar and Solar Calendar ... But how come the Indian ( Hindu ) are following English date and so Solar calendar ... and we are following Lunar .. ( both are hindu )

I think only Gujraties are following some kind of lunar calendar, while most of Indians (according to my knowledge) are following solar calendar.

Did u know that South Indians (hindus) worship Kumar before starting any work as we (North Indians and Nepali) worship Ganesh for that.

Now I can't answer why is that ? :D

Hey, I know why you don't understand..look india is conttrolled by british government for a long time..and they are following whatever they do....and you know indians are no.1 in coppying ....so..i think you got your answer...ha,,ha
